What a school gets from one connected system.
Everything on this page comes down to seven practical benefits.
Connect the assistant you already use.
If your leadership team already works with Claude, ChatGPT or Gemini, SMS can connect to it. Ask about your school from the assistant you already have open, with answers coming from your school's live data rather than the internet.
AI should make the school's record easier to understand — not turn the record into a black box.
Who is absent in Grade 7 today?
4 students. 2 have a reason from a parent, 2 do not.
Which families still owe Term 2 fees?
The families with a balance, the amount, and days overdue.
Is 9-B slipping in Mathematics?
Yes. Class average is down 7 points since the last test. Other subjects are unchanged.
Who can cover Period 4 tomorrow?
3 teachers are free, teach the subject, and are under their cover limit.
Your school already has the answers.
Ask a question in plain language. SMS reads the school's own records, follows your permissions, and gives you an answer you can actually act on.
- Why did Grade 9 results dip in March?
- Which teachers cover the most substitutions?
- Project Term 3 fee collection.
Which classes had the highest absenteeism this month?
Grade 8-B

The information is already in the system. You should be able to ask for it.
- Ask, don't assemble. No exporting registers, combining spreadsheets or asking someone to prepare a report first. Ask the question you actually have.
- The answer follows your access. The system respects the same permissions as the rest of SMS. Connecting an assistant does not give anyone access they did not already have.
- The record stays in control. Questions and analysis can be assisted. Marks, fees and school records remain changes made by people inside SMS.
- From answer to action. A useful question should not disappear after you ask it. Answers can become reports and recurring questions can be run again when they matter.
One systemunder everything your school does.
One search box for the whole school.
A parent is at the desk. A teacher is on the phone. Someone needs a student record now. You should not have to know which module to open first.
Type a name, roll number, email or book title — even part of one. SMS searches everything and shows only what you are allowed to see.

A wrong spelling still finds the right person
Names are matched on how close they are, not on getting them letter perfect. Type hasan and you get Hassan, Hassaan and Hassana — because that is how anyone types a name they have only ever heard said out loud.
It stays exact where exact matters
Roll numbers, employee codes, emails and phone numbers are matched exactly. A school system should never confidently return the wrong person.
It knows who is asking
Results are filtered by the person's capabilities as the search runs. Access is enforced by the system, not merely hidden from the interface.
One box, many kinds of record
People, classes, assessments, admissions, timetable, library stock, documents and notifications — without opening a different module for each one.
Mark the register once.Home knows the same morning.
The teacher taps through the class. The office, leadership and parents all see it without anyone writing a message.
One tap.
Miss Amara marks Grade 8-B in under a minute. Twenty-seven present. One absent.

The school knows.
Every register rolls up into one live picture. No chasing registers, no paper, no “we’ll know by Friday.”
So does home.
Hassan’s father hears within two minutes — not at the end of term.
School Management System
Hassan was marked absent in Period 1 — Mathematics. Tap to acknowledge or call the school office.
And the system notices more.
Four Mondays in a row is not a coincidence. SMS flags the pattern while there is still time to act.

Attendance that just works.
One check-in. Many ways to capture it.The same trusted record, everywhere.
Whether it's a card, fingerprint, face, or long-range tag, every check-in creates the same accurate attendance record.
- Parents know when their child arrives.
- School leaders see the patterns that matter.
- And your school can use the capture method that fits the way it operates.
One check-in. Any method you choose. Always the same trusted record.

Pick any gate. The record stays the same.
A big campus needs the gate cleared fast. A primary school needs it to work when a six-year-old loses their card. A lab needs to know exactly who was in the room. Different gates, same record underneath.
A card reader, a long-range antenna, a face terminal and a fingerprint unit all record one thing: who was here, and when. Start with one, add another next year, run two at different gates — nothing above the gate changes. The register, the message home and the term report are identical either way.
Barcode / QR card
The ID card you already print, read by a handheld or a kiosk. No new hardware, no new supplier.
Pilots, smaller campuses, and schools that want attendance running this term.
RFID card
A contactless card or wristband tapped at the gate. Cheap per student, instant, and obvious to use.
The default for most schools. Reliable, easy to replace, easy to explain.
UHF RFID
Antennas read a card from several metres away. A whole class walks through and is marked without stopping.
Large campuses, and gates that clear hundreds of students in a few minutes.
UWB tag
Tags locate to within centimetres, not metres. You can find a child on a large site or a bag left on a bus, not just count them.
Big campuses, transport and trips.
Face recognition
A terminal at the gate recognises the person. No card to forget, lose or hand to a friend.
Staff attendance, exam halls, and secondary schools.
Biometric
Fingerprint or palm terminals, where the record has to be beyond argument. The terminal matches on the device and sends SMS the identity, not the fingerprint.
Staff and payroll attendance, labs, libraries and controlled rooms.
What we actually recommend
Pick one everyday method and one fallback. A tap for students, a terminal for staff, and someone at the desk who can mark a student present in two clicks on the morning a device fails. We do not earn more from an expensive gate.
Every reader is registered
Each gate posts scans with its own device code and key, from an approved address. An unknown device cannot write to your register.
A double tap is not a double record
A student who taps twice, or walks back past the antenna, is still marked once.
Biometric data stays on the terminal
Face and fingerprint terminals match on the device and send a name, not a template. The sensitive part never leaves the terminal.
The manual route never disappears
Staff with the right role can always mark or correct attendance by hand, and every correction is logged.
From lesson toreport card.
Assignments, submissions and grades — entered once, then carried through the academic record.
